We’ve put a great deal of thought and care into making sure our beauty academy is as safe and sanitized as possible for you and our team. To assist us, we followed both the CDC guidelines and Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations on re-opening a safe and sanitary environment. Meeting and exceeding the already strict guidelines that ensure safe and proper hygiene in our academy, we will institute the following additional measures:
CUSTOMER AND student WELL-BEING
We will ask clients with appointments to please arrive on time and wear a face mask and sanitize your hands (we will offer a face mask and/or hand sanitizer when you walk in if you don't have any).
We will employ the use of a touch-less infrared thermometer to check the temperature of students each day and of each client who enters our academy. Anyone with a temperature above 100.4F will be asked to return home immediately and not allowed to return until they have no fever and no evidence of COVID-19 symptoms. Please work with us as we ask each client entering the academy the following questions: Have you had a cough? Have you had a fever? Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the past 14 days? Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined?
We have spaced our chairs in the service areas and ask that you maintain appropriate social distancing of at least 6 feet from other clients and other students during your visit.
All students are required to wear a face mask that covers the nose and mouth in a snug manner. We kindly ask that clients also wear a well-fitting face mask during your visit. We will offer masks to clients without a mask for a small fee.
Students will wash their hands frequently, and wipes and hand sanitizer will be available throughout the academy's highly trafficked areas for your use.
All chairs and tools are wiped down and sanitized between all services.
Each client will receive a freshly washed/dried cape before any services begin.
Prior to opening each day, our academy will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to city, county, state, and federal mandates.
Door pushes and windows will be wiped down frequently.
Shared space chairs and surfaces will be wiped down frequently.
The common area will be free of magazines, toys, coffee machines and any other frequently handled items.
While we encourage using contactless payment whenever possible (can be done online with your appointment booking); credit card terminals will be wiped and sanitized frequently.
To comply with health guidelines, we have removed all cash tip jars so please remember to tip when making your final payment via online payment system!
For the health and well-being of our communities, please know that any student presenting symptoms will stay home for 14 days and will not be allowed back until they have shown a negative result from a COVID-19 test. We also request that any customer who is feeling unwell to please reschedule your visit.
Thank you for your business and working with us to keep our neighborhoods healthy and safe.
